As the largest park in Tanzania, the Serengeti spans an astounding 15,000 square kilometers and boasts diverse landscapes and habitats, including grassy plains, swamps, lakes, savannahs, and mountains. Here, the great migration of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope takes place. Depending on the season, we may have the opportunity to witness thousands of animals in their search for food and water.

After breakfast, you will head straight towards the western corridor, where the drive takes approximately 1.5 hours. During late April through June, the western corridor of the Serengeti hosts a vast army of wildebeests accompanied by zebras, elands, and gazelles, south of the Grumeti River. Here, you may encounter leopards and hyenas, and beyond them, face giant Nile crocodiles. Hundreds perish as some brave the river crossing while others opt for a detour. The endless landscape beneath an infinite sky on a Serengeti West Safari transforms observers, heightening their awareness of humanity's place within the animal kingdom. Finally, you will proceed directly to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5: Central Serengeti
This entire day is dedicated to game drives in the Western Serengeti. In the later afternoon, we will journey to Central Serengeti. The Serengeti is renowned for its rich wildlife, including impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo, but it is most famous for the spectacular migrating herds of zebra, antelope, and wildebeest. Their movements are influenced by rainfall and vary annually.
During November and December, these animals migrate from the northern woodlands and hills to the southern grassy plains. In the longer rainy season from April to June, they return northward. Besides the migrating herds, we may also encounter resident predators such as leopard, cheetah, and lion, each playing their crucial roles in the circle of life.
After an extensive game drive, we will retreat to your accommodation for a hearty dinner, followed by another night of relaxation and conversation by the warm fire, under the expansive African night sky upon the 'Endless Plain'.

Day 6: Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast at Serengeti National Park, embark on a scenic drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. As you approach, the Crater emerges like a forgotten world, hidden by steep volcanic walls. Inside lies a pristine wilderness with sweeping savannah, acacia woodlands, and shimmering lakes and swamps. Formed millions of years ago from a volcanic explosion, the Crater offers a unique ecosystem.
Descending into the Crater is an adventure itself, where you'll encounter vast herds of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and over 500 bird species. It's also one of the best places to spot the endangered black rhino roaming the grasslands.
After a full afternoon exploring the Crater, continue to your accommodation in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 7: Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, we embark on the final leg of our epic safari, heading to Lake Manyara National Park. This relatively small yet diverse park lies 120km west of Arusha, named for its expansive shallow salt lake that covers seventy percent of its surface area. Seasonally flooding and drying, this soda lake hosts thousands of flamingos alongside over 500 other bird species. Our exploration promises sightings of monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, elephants, and with some fortune, lions lounging in the trees. Renowned for its varied landscapes—from open grassy plains to primate-filled woodlands and baobab-dotted cliffs—the park guarantees a captivating adventure. After another memorable game drive, we conclude our journey, returning to Arusha in the late afternoon, brimming with enduring memories of the African wilderness.
